You know I have a weakness for shoes (and purses-haha)! But when I shop for shoes, I only want high quality breathable and stylish ones that will stand the test of time. The older you get, the more you value comfort and quality over quantity. Shopping locally in store lets me touch the materials and try on the shoes in person which is really important in finding that awesome pair!
Shopping Locally
The Abbadabba’s store in East Cobb has a cool local vibe with a large selection of all kinds of shoe brands! Everything was nicely organized by brand so it was easy to shop. I was greeted and the friendly staff was very helpful in answering any questions I had and offered to order any items online that wasn’t in stock.
Earth Shoes Mission
I love that Earth Shoes has a sustainable and responsible mission to help our planet. They have planted over 1/2 million trees in Africa, use eco-friendly leather using vegetable-tanning methods, use nontoxic adhesives, and glue free boxes. Big steps in improving our world! Not only that, but the shoes are very stylish!
What I Got
I am obsessed with suede shoes in general and it was a hard decision to make. But I grabbed these Avani Bahn in Bone Brown (comes in 4 colors) in size 7 (I normally wear 6.5 or 7 and went up to accommodate socks). There is a side zipper for easy access (gotta love that!) and the suede felt like butter. The specially designed Powerpath foot bed with padded heel, arch support, and firm cushioning is (I dare to say) the most comfortable boot I have ever tried on. I could walk for days!
Check It Out
These boots are SO comfortable, super stylish, classic and I can wear them with any outfit! You know I’m a big fan of workhorse styles that are timeless! I know I’ll wear these all winter and years to come! Local friends: head to the nearest Abbadabba’s store (4 different locations) to check out their amazing selection of high quality, modern shoes!
A special thank you to Earth Shoes and Abbadabba’s for sponsoring this post. All opinions are my own.
