Hello Lovelies! My first post on the new blog!!! Hooray! It’s a little bit of a change but this platform offers more versatility for posts and gives me more control over content, layout, etc so after 2 full years of blogging, I have made the switch! I hope you like the function and hopefully it is easier for you to navigate. I also started using Instagram a year ago (hello IG babes) and seriously love the community, sharing of gorgeous travel and fashion photos-I am totally hooked and not on FB as much-sorry IRL friends! Haha! And I bet my IG friends didn’t know I really had a blog! Well here I am posting to the world of crickets! Haha, just teasing. I have like 4 people (just kidding over 1600+ visitors this year) who come to this page-thank you so much my friends for your support!
So this post is waaaaay overdue as I like to capture what I bought on a monthly basis but you know how time flies, life things get in the way, my birthday month had so many celebrations (haha), holidays coming up, and the role I play called “working Mom”. It’s a bit challenging sometimes but I love to share what I bought proving that high quality fashion can be done in a budget!
I am totally 100% smitten and in love with this company!! I have search high and low for some perfect heel and custom designed these babies for a fraction of what I was considering buying in a designer name. My feet are average I think but most Italian made designer shoes are narrow. I completely designed these 2.2″ kitten heels with real off white leather, pink leather lining, and gold leather trim and they were only $149 (I got an extra 10% off). It only took 5 days to make, ship from China, and landed on my doorstep!!! OMG! When they arrived, I thought they were slightly bigger than my typical 6.5 size but the more I wore them, I began to realize that the slight oversize makes for the most comfortable heels especially pointed one. This is a huge deal for me cause I’m a #shoeaddict and custom shoes for a reasonable price is AMAZING. I NEED another pair! Like in gold, nude suede, maybe glitter, D’Orsay?….Haha! My life has changed FOREVER!!

Thoughts on what I bought:
- Madewell Orange Shirt–$18: Love the lightweight and tie on this drapey shirt. If I didn’t have an ivory one, I’d buy this in that color. Perfect fit in size S.
- Madewell Embroidered Dress– $28: Size M-I could have sized down to S but it was final sale. I have been stalking this dress all summer and HAD to buy it at the final sale price. Super cute for spring/summer next year.
- H&M Knit Beanie–$8: Of course I saw this style of other bloggers so needed it ASAP! Of course when H&M sent me a coupon for 40% and free shipping, I HAD to get something right? 🙂
- Gap Sweatshirt Dress (similar, similar)– $40: This dress is totally sold out for good reason. Size XS for me, I had to exchange from S. Sweatshirt, pockets, and cotton? SOLD!
- Puma Suede Black Sneakers DSW–$26: I have no shame in stacking a $10 off coupon, a $10 rewards coupon to steal these puppies. Suede? Yes please. Street Styling!
- Shoes of Prey White Kitten Heels– $134: You saw my words on these shoes above. Slice of Heaven!!
- EyLure False Eyelashes-$10: I considered eyelash extensions for my non existent lashes but thought I’d try these first. For my first attempt at this, not bad and easier than I thought it would be since they came with glue. They are more natural and “fluttery” -is that a word for lashes-haha-and I’ve reused a pair twice. Not bad for the fun look of eyelashes for dayzzz!!
