What I Bought-January

Herringbone Sweater // Trench Coat // Satin Blouse

White Sports Bra // Eye Shadow Singles (Daddi-O, Big O)

Knot Front Tank

Looks like a neutral palette this month that I purchased! I think I was craving the softness of beige after the Christmas red and green was put away. Back to basics! January was a super long month! We celebrated Jerry’s birthday-we got him his own luggage set and he’s off to a boys hiking trip at the Grand Canyon in March. We put up all the Christmas decor (he actually did it all so fast because he can’t stand clutter-lol), and glad to be back in the swing of things and regular routine with the kids! My 16 year old dachshund Dallas got his teeth cleaned and they pulled out 6 teeth! The last 2 times he went, the vet pulled out 12 and 4 teeth so I’m not even sure he has that many left! LOL She said that dogs swallow food whole and use their incisors to bite so no worries there-I didn’t even know that! Moving on to fashion!

All Aerie Items are C/O

#aerieambassador

I’m beyond thrilled to be an #aerieambassador because I love all things Aerie! Seriously I live in about 90% comfy every day and have bought so many Aerie clothes in the past that when they reached out to me to become a partner, I was jumping up and down! Literally! I love their mission to be the real you #aeriereal, the natural and recycled materials they use in many of their products, size inclusion for all, and the store experience is phenomenal! Everyone is so cheery and helpful! I am honored to say that this is a genuine true alignment and couldn’t be more happy! All the pieces above are c/o but I wanted to show you all every piece of clothing/shoes I get so that I’m being transparent. And you are gonna love every single thing that Aerie makes! I guarantee it!

Thoughts on What I Bought

Size is just a number so sometimes I go up, sometimes I go down. It’s all about how it feels on you! I am showing you the current prices. I bought everything on sale so my numbers won’t add up for you.

  1. Herringbone Sweater-M, I have been loving houndstooth lately so when I saw this pop up in new arrivals, I picked it up right away. And it’s only $20
  2. Trench Coat-S, I have always wanted a trench coat and this light beige one feels heavy like a suede and lux. The price can’t be beat at $59
  3. Satin Blouse-M, I needed a going out/ dinner blouse and loved the look on this one. Slightly oversized and very feminine in person. $18
  4. White Sports Bra-L, Aerie bras are my jam! I tossed out every single one of my old ones and will ONLY wear Aerie bras because they are SO comfortable. Even these underwire ones feel so nice that I have slept in them before without realizing it. (Purchased this myself $17)
  5. Marc Jacobs Beauty Gel Eyeshadow-Daddi-O and Big O I am getting into the makeup scene a little more and wanted so neutral singles that I can wear daily. I hated buying the palettes with a bunch of pans because I only use 2 or 3 while the others go to waste. Tried these ones and love them for an everyday matte nude. Hint-they go on darker than the pan looks. MJB also has some shimmer ones that I might get as an accent on the interior eye for a pop. $29 each
  6. Knot Front Tank-S, Trying to get back into working out and I love this for spin class because it gets hot and these are perfect to keep cool and looking cute. Comes in several colors! I had a $5 rewards credit and got this for $17
  7. Skirt-M, This one has an elastic waste band and a great weight with pockets. It feels like a linen type material. Perfect for spring transition and summer!
  8. Navy Leggings-S, I have these in beige so I knew I needed them in navy! The pockets are so awesome to keep the phone handy! Best invention EVER!
  9. Pink Sweater-XS, This chenille vneck feels SUPER soft! I size down in sweaters or anything that says “oversized” and I still get that oversized look.
  10. White Henley-M, OMG this henley I have worn almost every day since I got it! It’s like butter. I need another for sure!!
  11. Pink Tee-XS, I have last year’s in white and wanted to update my 3 white shirts with a color. Haha! Size down.
  12. Overalls -M, I have wanted to try on overalls for awhile but never found the right one without looking like farmer Bob. They are awesome as it’s a medium weight and the straps are so easy to put on and take off which makes bathroom breaks a breeze! LOL. Buy a size that fits your hips and the it should fit right for you.

This Herme Evelyne PM in Gris Perle is simply amazing! I love the color-it reads white but really a light, light gray color. The strap is very comfortable for both shoulder and crossbody. The suede lining is just YUMMY and the clemence leather is very lux feeling! There is an outside pocket for my cell phone for easy access but really the bag is super easy to use and carry. I purchased the Evelyne from 2020 Budget Recap
