Atmos-Lab Born Diamonds
Verla launched a new line of lab created diamonds for those looking for more eco-friendly diamonds called Atmos. These diamonds are created in a scientific lab to be the exact compounds of diamonds in a controlled environment. Cutting edge technology including high pressure high temperature (HPHT) and chemical vapor deposition (CVD) is used to mimic the creation of diamonds from carbon, then they are grown which simulate nature just done a little faster-4 weeks to be exact. Pros and Cons of Atmos
Pro – Eco conscious alternatives for those who prefer high quality diamond fine jewelry. The sparkle is there and no one can visually tell the difference with the plain eye. Great price point for diamonds that are timeless and can be heirloom piece passed down to other generations.
Con – Doesn’t retain the same value as natural diamonds. To be honest natural diamonds also don’t retain as much value as you think. It’s the gold that is worth the most. Also the price difference is large enough between lab created and natural diamonds that it’s still worth it.
My thoughts: I LOVE (obsessed) diamond jewelry because of the sparkles and how it makes ME feel, and I feel pretty DARN GOOD when I see the sparkles in the sunshine-HAHA! Fine jewelry is also sentimental in which it reminds me of a special occasion and I know my daughter will keep certain pieces because it reminds her of me. I am a BIG researcher of all products especially when it comes to fine jewelry. I want to know everything about a brand before I TRUST them to make a purchase. Quality
To start, I am pleasantly surprised to see VS clarity available on jewelry like bracelets, earrings, necklaces. That’s pretty rare since that quality is reserved for wedding engagement rings! Not only are the diamonds high quality but each jewelry piece is backed up with an IGI (International Gemological Institute) card which is the most trusted name in diamonds. So I know, the diamonds are authentic and graded as purchased. All diamonds are ethically sourced and jewelry pieces are made in the US.

What I Picked
Verlas gifted me several replica pieces, a jewelry box as well as some credit to purchase anything I liked. I immediately knew I wanted simple, timeless diamond stud earrings. I had a pair of average quality diamond earrings and lost 1 of the pair about 6 years ago and ended up making the other diamond into a pendant. Also I occasionally have skin irritations with fashion jewelry and the 14K gold metal doesn’t bother me at all!
The Cons
Every review has its positives and cons right? Haha. I would say that diamonds are really hard to understand size online. It’s more trial and error as 1/2 carat may be smaller or bigger than you’d like. SO, I am very glad to see the return policy as well as the Try-at-Home. This makes me VERY comfortable knowing how a piece looks on me! There may be a hit or miss when it comes to ordering but hang in there and know you’ll get what you LOVE.
